The extension to anyone’s personality that how well he/she can deliver their duties and even prove their part to, be an indivisible part of their domain is the very existence of the quality called LEADERSHIP in them. We cannot be judged by what we have instead how we got that. Leadership is more than just a right or duty; it’s more of being a responsible person and leadership is not just about planning and handing over the responsibilities to our teammates. It is far bigger than it seems. Leadership is far more than just being a decision maker or initiator or someone with some extra privileges. Leadership is something like the captain of a sailing ship. You have to live and dwell around like a normal passenger onboard, sailing with the ship to the destination with a fear of some mishap like the ship drowning, and like a captain who has the responsibility of all the lives on the ship of taking them safely to their destination. Leadership take a lot of courage and exceptional skills. And most importantly it totally depends on others that are you a good leader or can u even be a leader, because it is they who you have to lead and its they who will choose their leader. So just taking a stand is not enough. You need to be fully equipped with the qualities and skills and most importantly respect and patience. If you are a leader without these two attributes of respect and patience accompanied with good communication skill, team spirit, and if you are unable to hold the people together, it could be equally disastrous. Leadership takes you to amazing heights and develops your personality. Just that being a leader starts with just remembering one thing, ‘your teammates don’t work for you, they work with you.’ So step up, initiate, and be a leader and lead by an example.
